Diet for healthy weight gain

IF your BMI ( Body Mass index) is below 18.5 that means you are underweight and being underweight is not healthy as it calls for a number of problems like infertility, malnutrition, weak immune system etc. As much as being overweight is not good for one’s health, being underweight is equally not good. To gain weight you don’t have to include unhealthy stuff in your diet. We are talking about healthy weight gain that means good fats.

Include more of a scratch in your diet things that are tasty and would help you with weight gain are corns, potatoes, sweet potatoes, pasta, cereal bars.

Instead of trying to eat 3 big fat meals a day, try eating 6 small meals. You will manage to push more calories in your body. It would help if you get full quickly and maintain a healthy weight gain.

If not done yet introduce rice in your meal containing more calories it would help you reach your goal faster.
Add nuts and nuts butter in your meal. It would not only make your meal creamier when gridend and added but adds a good crunch to your meals when chopped and added. That being said, don’t forget to check the labels of the jar as nut butter containing hydrogenated oils are unhealthy.

Dry fruits are such a good option to consider while thinking about healthy weight gain just like nuts dry can also be eaten on their own or can be added in the meals either way are an amazing option to opt for and on top that there are so many options available.

Add cheese in your sandwiches and burgers loaded with proteins, fats and other essential nutrients. It’s definitely something you can consider just don’t eat too much of it as it is saturated fats. Just keep a check on how much cheese you are having in a day as otherwise it could lead to health problems.

Fats and oils are not only unavoidable but comes first in mind when it comes to  healthy weight gain. A healthy way to include them in your without compromising on heart health is to use olive oil containing high calories and unsaturated fats makes it a smarter heart healthy choice.

Munching on something unhealthy is not necessary for weight gain. Gaining weight safely and effectively can be possible above are ways by which we can achieve desired weight.
